I can't imagine (ha! Ha!) Paul McCartney writing new and relevant blockbuster material these days. The Who(Pete Townsend) have been trying to perform new material lately. There are echoes of the past and that is about all. It's dreadfully embarrassing sort of stuff. They really should stop.
